Manuel Antonio is the most visited national park in Costa Rica and also the name of the surrounding town. There is a reason it is so popular, it is one of the most beautiful places you have ever seen and one of the best places for viewing wildlife like monkeys, sloths, lizards, toucans and scarlet macaws. The national park is amazing and has many hiking trails that take you through the rainforest and to some incredible beaches perfect for swimming. There are also a lot of luxury homes with the same incredible ocean views. The nearby city of Quepos has a population of 30,000 people and has everything you need from banks to grocery stores to restaurants etc. Marina Pez Vela is located in Quepos and is one of the best marinas in Costa Rica and is famous for it’s deep sea fishing where you can catch marlin, sail fish, tuna, and mahi mahi. Manuel Antonio is well positioned for easy access to many beaches. It is only 30 min north of Playa Dominical and 2.5 hours south west of San Jose. Quepos also has a local airport where you can jump on a 20 min flight to San Jose. May foreigners chose to invest in the Manuel Antonio area because it is so popular with tourists and the property values are always on the rise.
