From every room on the property, you see lush jungle full of lipstick palms, royal palms, frangipani, Guanacaste (the country’s national tree) and the Ceiba rising majestically above the jungle canopy. When in season, enjoy picking fresh mangoes, mamon chinos, pineapples, bananas, guavas, guanabana (soursop), mandarins, oranges, grapefruits, lemons, and more, while watching the wildlife that includes monkeys, parrots, toucans, deer, armadillos, anteaters, pizotes and more. The three-bedroom main home was inspired by Balinese design by the original owner, an accomplished architect. His efforts can be seen and felt in beautiful details everywhere, from its setting at the perfect elevation for feeling both ocean breezes during the day and mountain breezes at night to the opportunities for indoor/outdoor living and large windows and glass doors. The open floor plan kitchen / dining and living spaces flow freely to the outdoors, where you can enjoy a hardwood deck with ocean views over the forest. The third bedroom upstairs enjoys the same majestic ocean and mountain views. High-speed hard-wired fiber optic internet keeps it easy to work remotely or check in on family back home. Pool House: The pool house is one large space with its own bed, kitchenette and full bathroom all enjoying large windows and sliding glass doors to the pool. Outside is a large hardwood deck with a BBQ area, sink, and dining areas. Good luck getting your guests to leave this sweet little spot! The property truly boasts indoor / outdoor living opportunities galore, so you can live the lifestyle that the gorgeous weather dictates. You can open the homes fully to enjoy the breezes and take in the natural paradise that surrounds you. You must understand that Costa Rica is located in a tropical climate where insects, rodents, lizards and reptiles flourish in this environment. Although we use our best efforts to hold to a minimum interaction with these pests during your stay, all guests must understand that a contact with such pest within or outside the unit does not constitute a breach of the rental policy. We have a strict plan for pest control that allows us to keep the jungle outside of the property and we hope you can understand that they are part of the environment that you are so eager to enjoy.
